Sep 21, 2016

Shannon is a financial planner who left a "traditional" financial services firm to start her own company, The Financial Gym, because she felt traditional financial services firms did not have the tools or resources to help people in their 20s and 30s who are starting out and trying to build assets while also managing debt. She realized that the key to long-term personal financial success is a commitment to financial fitness and making smart financial choices.
Through her blog, Financially Blonde, her book, Train Your Way To Financial Fitness, her podcast, Martinis and Your Money and her company, Shannon is committed to making financial fitness fun, easy and accessible for others.

Joshua Belanger

August 16, 2016

I’m a former financial professional who is now a self-directed investor.

I cut my teeth on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, so I saw firsthand how the “sausage was made” – and it wasn’t pretty…I could go on and on about all the terrible (and just plain wrong)vaspects of the financial industry… but here’s what I hated the most: not
being able to do more for my clients to protect them and help them generate better returns.

That sounds like any oxymoron… that a financial entity should try to protect its customers and make them money. But that’s furthest from the truth…

I got so fed up with the way things were done that I left the industry during the financial crisis in 2008, to help active investors lacking the confidence and know-how. My goal was – to provide them with out-of-the-box methods to reduce risk, create better returns and generate income though options trading.

And since 2008, I’ve changed the lives of thousands of traders and investors… so they could save up or retire more comfortably.

I have been a licensed Realtor since 2001. My father has been a Realtor since 1978 and I was surrounded by real estate in my youth. I remember sleeping under my dad’s desk when I was three while he worked tirelessly in the office. Surprisingly, or maybe not, I never wanted anything to do with real estate. When I grew up, I graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in business finance in 2001. I could not find a job that was appealing to me so I reluctantly decided to work with my father part-time in real estate. Fourteen years later I am sure glad I got into the real estate business!

Sean Clark

May 23, 2016

Sean Clark was just a young man when he realized that, being from a middle class home, no one was beating down his parents store to financially educate them or help them develop a game plan for success. With that reality in mind, and his college degree completed, Sean and his wife Annette set out to build a business that would “democratize” success… a “financial planning company for everybody”, regardless of means. From that idea came York Independents, the company Sean calls “the most unique shopping service you’ll ever find” because York Independents “not only does the analytical planning but then shops the marketplace to find clients better deals… then helps clients implement those plans”.
According to Professor Clark, York Independent’s mission is to be the “hand-holding financial planners for the middle class “and the best part? YI’s planning services are done at the firm’s cost so they are absolutely free for clients.

Here’s a little bit about Sean Clark. Sean is currently CEO of York Independents Incorporated, and is a former Professor of Business and Finance at Yorktown Business Institute. Sean holds the following certifications: Brainbench Certified in Consumer Finance, Certified in Investment Strategy, Certified in Financial Industry Knowledge, and Certified in Real Estate Finance. For over a decade, Sean has been licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking, the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance, and the National Mortgage Licensing System, and is FINRA Registered Representative (both federal and PA), and is a FINRA Registered Supervisor. Regarding his education, Sean likes to say he is a graduate of the “School of Hard Knocks”, but actually, Sean has earned an Associate of Arts, an Associate of Science, an Associate of Engineering, a Bachelor of Science (all from Penn State), and he is currently an Masters Candidate at American Public University. Sean is a member of many clubs, including Mensa International, Intertel, Rotary International (where he serves as a District Committee Chair), the York Chamber of Commerce (where he serves as an Ambassador), and the York Jaycees.

“The Professor” is a CFTC Registered CTA (Commodities Trading Advisor). Mr. Jousef, holds a B.Sc. in Physics. After intense research, Simon discovered a hidden phenomenon within the markets’ price action or volume. He witnessed a formula of numbers that

keeps attracting the price back to them, a phenomenon he now calls trading magnets. Similar to black holes in space, the brackets pull or magnetize the price back to its origin, to the tick. With this new found information, Simon entered live trading competitions and in June of 2006, he was listed as one of The World’s Top 5 Forex Traders.- Fxtrader.net.

In 2010 and with the help of programmers, he developed an automated indicator called Trading Magnet, which was initially designed for futures markets such as Crude, Gold, and Indices but it works equally as well with stocks, options, and spot Forex markets.

Today he trades in front of students and teaches the exact samestrategies and tape reading methods he used during the live trading competitions daily during his live trading room sessions at FuturesFx.ca and GlobalTradeRoom.com

Atanas Stayanov

At WooTrader, we asked the same question. For years, Wall Street gurus have relied on a mix of technical and fundamental indicators. Popular metrics like P/E ratio, quarterly revenue, and 50 day moving averages have dominated analyst playbooks. But those computers that are making most of the market trades may not look at any of those metrics right now.

The metrics that are moving the market are constantly changing, so the information you’re using to evaluate the market should change too. That’s why we developed our dynamic investment strategy. Each night, our system analyzes the day’s data and compares them with past data. Data that is clearly moving the market is given more weight in our calculations while less influential data has less of an impact on a stock’s ranking.

When you log in, you immediately see a list of the highest ranked stocks based on this dynamic investment strategy. You can take our word for it and buy or sell based on our rankings or you can dig in to the millions of data points yourself.

For years, even the professionals have underperformed the market. At WooTrader, we know that your retirement savings is tied to the stock market. You might be saving for your children’s college education or the purchase of your first home. You can’t afford to underperform the market.

Give WooTrader a try. If you don’t like it, we’ll give you your money back. That’s how confident we are that you will see an increase in your returns using our system.

I started as a trading coach for NetPicks back in 2008. Working with hundreds of fellow traders has been a very rewarding experience for me. I had to struggle early on in my trading career because there weren’t many educational resources at the time. I had to teach myself much of what I know today. As a result of this, it became a goal of mine to help newer traders avoid the struggles that I went through early on.

The new NetPicks Options Academy has been designed to take traders through all the
training required to be successful trading options. The course covers how to use our
Active Swing Trader indicators along with our custom trade plans for 50 of our favorite stocks and ETF’s. We then take our students through how we use different options strategies to take the trades that our system is identifying for us. The goal of the Academy is to help other traders reach their trading goals while avoiding many of the common mistakes that retail traders make. I’m looking forward to sharing my style of trading options with the students as part of the Options Academy.

“I was looking for an easy-to-use investing app that regularly beats the stock market. It didn’t exist.”

I bought my first stock in college and had no idea what the company did. But I instantly knew that investing was my Vegas, PowerBall and Fantasy Football all rolled into one. So after a decade as a CPA and financial analyst, I went on to lead an investment research firm for retirees. I’m no good at developing the advice, but I seem to have a knack for hiring those who do. Discovering Jim Pearce and John P. Reese to build the Baton system is just the latest win.
